    Role Description:

    The Human Resource Assistant supports the Human Resources Department. Responsibilities include recruiting, the new hire process, back-up payroll support, workers’ compensation accident reporting, and other duties needed to service employees, management, and outside external customers and vendors. The individual in this role must manage sensitive, highly confidential, and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality.

    General Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Facilitates the recruiting process through job posting, prescreening, and making recommendations to hiring managers regarding applicants to interview.
    • Manages and facilitates the new hire process from onboarding through new hire orientation for selected job applicants
    • Serve as the back-up for biweekly payroll processing
    • Maintain various Human Resources related tracking spreadsheets
    • Create, post and track job vacancies both internally and externally; represent the company at job fairs.
    • Creation, processing and maintenance of driver files for company truck drivers.
    • Served as the point person for workers’ compensation accident reporting and tracking

    Role Description:

    The Facilities Technician is responsible for managing the upkeep and functionality of the company’s facilities across various locations. This role involves performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure that equipment, fixtures, and furniture remain in safe and reliable working order. The Facilities Technician conducts regular check-ups, addresses maintenance needs promptly, and supports both preventive and corrective maintenance efforts to minimize downtime.

    General Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Monitor, maintain, and perform standard repairs to building electrical systems, including plumbing, fixtures, switches, photocells, and outlets. Assist licensed electricians with non-technical repairs as appropriate.
    • Perform carpentry and building maintenance tasks such as sheetrock/drywall installation and repair, window replacement, cabinet and countertop replacement, painting, finish work, flooring, and door/hardware installation.
    • Paint and maintain interior and exterior finishes.

  • CDL A Driver (Macungie)

    Role Description:

    Truck drivers are the face of our company while out at jobsites delivering the material listed on the bill of lading. The CDL A driver will be operating manual transmission as well as multi gear transmission vehicles and are educated in safely maneuvering the vehicle and its cargo while also being mindful of its size. A driver in this position will utilize the GPS systems supplied by the company to take the best suited route to and from our retail facilities and distribution centers to the end users, our customers.

    General Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, proof of delivery pictures, customer signatures, wearing of seatbelts, and no handheld cellphone use while driving
    • Assemble and deliver lumber & building materials to customers
    • Responsibility for safe operation of various Class B delivery trucks
    • Ensure proper care of product, equipment and customer property while loading/unloading via forklift in the yard or at jobsites as well as bulk material via the loader
    • Unload vendor deliveries and confirm product arrived based on sales acknowledgement when needed
    • Reporting of vehicle maintenance issues and or safety issues to supervisor
    • Inspection of trucks for defects (pre-trip inspections) before your first day’s delivery and submission of reports to dispatch noting the truck’s condition
    • Regular cleaning of company vehicles both inside and out
    • Other duties as assigned by management

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Mature, dependable, and self-motivated
    • Ability to handle a variety of tasks at any time with little supervision
